This exam was not what I was thinking it would be. I was expecting like ten pages of a crap ton of who knows what, but it turned out to be alright. I thought some of it was challenging, however there was nothing I could not handle. A lot of writing of course. Only thing on exam number one that had my mind drawn a blank was denotative and connotative language. I’m definitely stressing over those questions and some of the definitions on the first page. What I thought was super easy for me was, logical and illogical answer choices. That stuff is just common sense to me. I wish Mr.Still would have put maybe one or two more of those on the test, but some of my classmates may disagree. One thing I like that Mr.Still did with everyone was, taking a quick glance at our answers and tell us one or two things to help us out a little. So thank you Mr.Still you rock. Something I would have done more of before taking this test would have probably been to start studying when our teacher gave us the review instead of starting two days before*sign*.Study, Study, Study. Cramming a lot of information all at once is not for me. Next time I will study way before it is time to take the exam. This made me learn some do’s and don’t do’s. Practice Short answer responds about martial that you know will be on you test if it has any short answer question. Also do not forget about your textbook, you bought that expensive thing. Use it!!!!!!

NeverShoutNever is a band I used to fan girl over when I was about fourteen years old. Their style is a more alterative genre rather than pop. My friends and I would watch His music videos for hours. I really enjoy the unique twist he would use on his songs. In those years of “fan girling”, there was not any other artists I was exposed to that sounded like him. For instance, one of my all-time favorite songs that I still jam too is , “trouble” , on the album ME and Me Uke-EP, He sings, “She’s got my heart tied in a knot and my stomach in a whorl” This is a hyperbole, it is indicated by him singing his heart is in a knot, and his stomach in a whorl. These are exaggerations because those two things are impossible. An artist I love so very much is Michael Jackson, I still am and always will be a fan girl for him. His music qualifies in many different categories like; pop, soul, rhythm and blues, rock, etc. In the hit s...
I agree about thinking it was going to be about 10 pages long. Mr. Still made me nervous when he was looking at my test and it was stressing me out. I think you and I both need to study a lot more because I didn't study much at all either.
ReplyDeleteThe goal in sending you back was to keep you thinking, not to stress you out. It's easy to get tired and bail out. I'm glad this helped you, Fallon. Next time I'll try to put "a crap ton" more stuff on the test.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I studied the most was the vocabulary words because I thought there was going to be more on the test. I also liked Mr. Still telling us to go back and write more on the test, like he said in his comment, it made me think of more things to write.
ReplyDeleteBaby, I thought that logical and illogical stuff was easy too, i could do that in my sleep if i wanted to. that part of the test was my favorite part.
ReplyDeleteI agree that how Mr. Still sent us back to fix something was really helpful. I would've not done 3 problems if he wouldn't have done that.
