Hello World, my name is Fallon Marie O'Dell. I have one sibling, he is male and mother and a father. I am originally from Matthews,North Carolina, but in the third grade I had to moved Texas for my mothers job. I was super depressed because I was leaving all my friends and half of my family behind and I thought I was going to live around a lot of hillbillies, so I was not very excited for this. We moved to Fort Worth, Texas. When we got there the town was extremely small with just country dirt roads. Now this places is so freaking busy all the time, but surprisingly I loved Fort Worth.  Anyways, I am into helping people in any way I can. My junior year I had suffered from a lost in my family. We we not related, but she was like a second mother to me, she: took me to school when my family could not, feed me when i would stay with her, and pay for fun things we loved to do. That made her family. Her being there for me when i needed someone made me need her. Her daughter and I were and still are close friends. Ever since her passing I just thought I could try and help people. I want to be an Anesthetist Nurse. Most people really do not know what that type of nurse is, so if you don't know.... I am about to tell you. They are like an Anesthesiologist, but it is a nurse. I will achieve this goal by getting my basics done and out of the way by taking class this Fall(which I am doing at the moment), then spring, summer, then fall, spring, and summer again at Blnin. By the time I finish with that  I should have my basics out of the way and go straight to A&M in the fall of 2019. WOOOHOOOOO!!!!! *exciting* I will get all my classes for nursing taken care of then apply for nursing school. I am super stoked for this and what will happen in the future. I hope along the way I will meant other nurses that i may work with for the rest of my life. Hopefully I like them. I plan to get married at twenty-five or twenty-six, depending if I am out of nursing school. School comes before anything. I am not sure yet about kids, I know I want one. Although two would be great, but I know how much money and stress that puts on my parents so i’ll have to think about that one. So far my life is going pretty great and hope it continues to.

    I really hope you go to nursing school because this world needs a lots of nurses . I 'm sorry that you lost a family memeber. I enjoyed reading about you and your future of what you want to do in life. Very good details in this blog.

    Fallon, I hope you achieve your goal to get into nursing school. I have no doubt that you won't make it! I can tell you are very driven by the way you expressed your dreams in your blog. You did a great job at really painting that picture that was asked for, I could even vision it for myself! I really enjoyed reading your paper.

     NeverShoutNever is a band I used to fan girl over when I was about fourteen years old. Their style is a more alterative genre rather than pop. My friends and I would watch His music videos for hours. I really enjoy the unique twist he would use on his songs.    First Semester College Experience         College is definitely not what everyone puts it out to be.The freedom I have is amazing, I get to learn what it is like to live without my parents and finally start to grow up. It sounds scary i know, but it is a joy not having someone breathing down your neck twenty four seven. People will tell you over and over again that you will have no free time, you gain the “freshman fifteen”(scary), and that college is overwhelming and stressful. Surprisingly those are not true for me at least. I am only taking twelve credit hours ( four classes) and three of them are non college ready courses, so that may be the reason why I am not going through what most first year college students go through. So far this semester has taught me many things on how to be independent .           My attention span is extremely short. For Example any book or article i read or anything involving more than two pages is pretty difficult fir me to comprehend. I have difficulty understanding what the author is trying to get across to me (the reader).In "Building Attention Span", published July, 10 2015 by David Brook, he discusses the different types of readers: "Fluid" and "crystallized". I can definitely relate to a fluid reader. They are the ones who just go with the flow an in the moment type of person; they read past all the important details and never look for the main idea of the read, as well as straying of topic often.            Attention span is not the only thing Brooks' speaks of in his article.
